2020 Camp Wild and Out
|
|
It is with heavy hearts we announce that the 2020 Camp Wild and Out has been officially canceled.
Camp John Hope Administrative Staff have been planning, researching, and discussing the necessary requirements needed to make a decision on Camp Wild and Out. This decision did not come lightly and as a team, have been working on possible solutions and requirements for all summer camp programs since the first mention of COVID-19 earlier this year.
This is a very difficult time for both Georgia FFA-FCCLA Centers. The cancellation of all summer camp programs and all rental groups through July has created a significant financial challenge. Please pray for the camp team as we navigate these times.
We believe Camp plays an important role for many people. We are heartbroken that we cannot connect with the people and do the camps that we are passionate about.
Sincerely,
Casey Shumate, Camp Director
Jordana Pope, Educational Programs Specialist
