Camp Wild and Out is a week-long residential summer camp for boys and girls ages 10-15.
The program has a few primary goals.
1) To increase safety, awareness, and appreciation of wildlife conservation and outdoor sports.
2) To instill core character values such as but not limited to integrity, respect, responsibility, and commitment.
This experience will be done in a dynamic, hands-on environment.
Camp Wild and Out is hosted by Camp John Hope located in Fort Valley, GA.
Campers will participate in classes such as:
Fishing
Canoe/kayaking
Firearm Safety
Outdoor Cooking
Hunting Tactics
Free recreation that includes: pool time, rock wall climbing, volleyball, basketball, etc.
Plant and animal identification
On-site camping trip
And so much more!

Cost and Eligibility
|

The cost of Camp Wild and Out is $400. This price includes a non-refundable $100 deposit which is due within two weeks of registering for camp.

Registering for Hunter ED
|
|
After you have registered for Camp Wild and Out you will need to sign up for Hunter Education online.
Step One: Make an account on Go Outdoors Georgia by following this link: https://www.gooutdoorsgeorgia.com/ and click on the licenses and permits section in the middle of the screen.
